What Do Emojis Really Mean?
Emojis. We use them in texts, Tweets and Facebook posts.
Also referred to as emoticons, they are usually used in the most literal sense. However, some emojis have taken on a different role and mean different things than what you might think.
Some are used for sexual innuendo, some for more animated sentences or to indicate a reaction. Take a look at this video to see how some members of the Ram Family define specific emojis.
Used a lot with cocky or confident statements, but could also be used in a sexual reference.
Probably used the most to represent something that it is not (typically a sexual reference to the male anatomy).
Annoyed/Unamused Face Emoji
Used primarily for what it is named for and what it looks like. Shows disappointment or annoyance in a statement.
In Atlanta, it may be used for its primary function, which is indicating a peach. However, like other emoijs, here it’s used for the sexual reference of a rear end.
Usually used to show thought about a statement, but could also be used to question the intelligence in someone’s statement.
Parents, sending your children eggplant or peach emojis to indicate what you are hungry for might be a little strange, with the way people are looking at things now. But it doesn’t mean you are wrong. The way you perceive these emojis are probably the way they were intended to be perceived, but the way some of them are viewed now has somewhat changed the actual meaning.
Now you know what emojis mean or kind of know. Happy texting.
